The Khatumo Development Research Center (KDRC)
The Khatumo Development Research Center (KDRC) is a local nongovernmental organization (LNGO) based in Las’anod the Capital City of SSCKhatumo Khatumo administrative of Somalia. KDRC was founded on Nov 05-2023 as an independent, nonpartisan, non-profit research Center dedicated to development, State Building, peacebuilding. KDRC is governed by a Board of directors including five members. The Board, also called “Founders”, consists of
five numbers.

Our Focus Areas
Peacebuilding
KDRC has done research on the field and participated in reconciliation and mediation programs. KDRC will work on this agenda until there is a safe environment for all SSC-Khatumo/Somali citizens
Good Governance
KDRC has one year record in promoting good governance, Democratization, statebuilding and rule of law, Creating dialogue space to reach an agreement between the Somalia federal government
